TARGET CANDIDATESThis course is designed for: - Individuals who wish to work towards the CYQ Certificate in Advanced Studio Instruction
- Exercise to Music instructors who wish to enhance their qualifications
- Those who are already working as Advanced Instructors but who lack recognised qualifications
PREREQUISITES- Candidates must be experienced instructors, aged 18 or over
- They must already hold a Level 2 Certificate in Exercise to Music Instruction
- Candidates must also be teaching Exercise to Music classes on a regular basis
COURSE DESCRIPTIONThe 2day course is held in Cambridge and covers the following subjects: - Advanced cadiovascular training systems
- Advanced choreography design techiniques, including:

- Add-on
- Linear progression
- Pyramids
- Holding patterns
- Learning curves
- Elements of variation
- Association
- Top and tail
- Link part to whole
- Musical interpretation
Note: candidates will be sent a pre-course Study Pack prior to the start of the course. The Study Pack covers knowledge of the areas listed above, together with self-assessment tasks to enable candidates to check their learning. The Study Pack must be completed prior to the course.
