Better Together and Counselling Projects Administrator
Better Together is a volunteering project that recruits, trains and places volunteers to work with projects across Peterborough that support children and young people.
We require an Administrator to support the Project Manager with general office administration tasks and to manage the Projects database. The post holder will also support the Counselling Co-ordinator with general office administration.
Hours: 37½ hours per week
Salary: £12,795 per annum
This is a temporary contract to 31 March 2011, extension subject to funding.

Generic Sessional Worker Post
YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is looking for sessional workers to work across the following projects when required:
- Intensive Intervention Project (IIP)
- Transitions Project
- Jigsaw Project (PVE)
- Youth Inclusion Project (YIP)
The projects between them cover an age range of 7-19, so experience of working with young people is highly desirable.
We are looking for people with experience of group work and 1-2-1 mentoring who can offer our young people knowledge and experience working in the following areas:
- Education
- Housing
- Sexual health
- Substance misuse
- Criminal justice system
- Looked After Children
Sessional workers will have excellent communication skills and be flexible and responsive to individual need. Sessional workers will have to be proactive and use initiative in difficult situations with, at times, minimal supervision. The ability to speak additional languages is also highly sought after.
To include day, evening and weekend work.
Salary: £8.22 - £9.29 per hour depending on experience
