Housing - Queen Anne House

Queen Anne House - Cambridge

Queen Anne House provides accommodation and support for 80 single homeless people with intense support needs between the ages of 16 and 25 years. We recognise the intrinsic value in every person and all residents are treated with a non-judgemental attitude.

Residents have the use of a communal lounge area with a TV, vending machine, table tennis and pool table. There is an on site laundry and free gym membership and free gym sessions during off peak hours.

Everyone who moves in will start in a bed-sit with access to a shared kitchen and bathroom. They will be allocated a key-worker to identify and achieve specific goals.  Staff offer support with finance, employment, health (mental and physical), social needs, housing and a range of other issues.

There are at least two members of staff on duty to give advice and support twenty-four hours a day. In the evenings, nights and at weekends support workers provide assistance with life skills to enable residents to move towards independent living.

A recent resident said this:

“Staff accepted me for who I am, not where I came from”

Queen Anne House houses and supports over 150 young people per year.
